The Mission and Purpose of the Cemetery Ministry
The purpose of a cemetery is to provide dignified care for those buried within its grounds and to be a comforting place for visitors and mourners who attend the cemetery to remember, pay tribute, and honor departed individuals. A cemetery serves two purposes: it provides a place for the deceased to rest in peace or is a historical green space in an urban or rural environment. It is a place to find peace and remember a loved one.
